Jeff Ernst has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. Jeff began their career as a Production Supervisor, Supply Coordinator, and Supply Clerk at ConAgra Foods in 1990, where they worked until 2004. In 2004, they transitioned to Applied Controls as a Purchasing Agent before joining ADVANCED SERVICES, INC as an Assembler in 2005. In 2006, they worked as a Refinery Operator at AGP.
Jeff's career then took a shift towards software engineering, starting with their role as a Senior Applications Developer at the Nebraska Department of Labor in 2011. There, they excelled in leading the development of the SIDES Program and collaborating with JAVA Team members on web application code. Jeff continued their software engineering career at TEKsystems in 2020 as a Software Engineer before joining ISYS Technologies in 2021 for a similar role.
Throughout their work experience, Jeff has showcased their skills in various programming languages such as C++, C, Java, and JavaScript. Jeff has also demonstrated proficiency in agile development methodologies and tools like Jira and Bitbucket.
Jeff Ernst has a strong educational background in the field of Information Technology. Jeff started their educational journey at Central Community College in Hastings, NE, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Information Technology from 1999 to 2001.
Afterward, they pursued higher education at Colorado Technical University from 2007 to 2010. During this time, they earned both an Associate's Degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Software Systems Engineering.
