Andy Phalan

Andy Phalan is a Director at IT Cadre with over ten years' experience in helping organizations visualize their business processes, IT systems' interactions, and complex data sets and transforming them into more efficient and capable forms. As a Visualization Engineer, he has worked in technical fields designing Storage Area Networks, the network security of complex mainframe and Oracle systems, and rationalizing data centers. For business process understanding and improvement, Andy has led projects covering diverse areas from Personnel and Talent Management to IT Service Management. And in the intersection of business with IT, he has lead projects with enterprise email, IT service management, and research data management, compliance, and storage.

Prior to joining IT Cadre, Andy served in the US Army as a tanker, an infantryman, and a foreign area officer with assignments and deployments to Haiti, Guam, Thailand, Philippines, Spain, Germany, and Afghanistan. He graduated from the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science, and Johns Hopkins University with a Masters in International Public Policy.
