Michael R. Davies

Michael R. Davies has over 20 years of work experience, starting with their role as a Systems Specialist at Merck, where they managed Windows clients and helped develop the Multiple Application Deployment System. Michael R. then advanced to the position of Systems Analyst and Senior Systems Analyst within the Global Infrastructure Client Computing Services, providing software, hardware, and network support to thousands of Windows clients. Michael R. also oversaw project implementation teams during major technology conversions and migrations. Later, at Merck, they served as an Infrastructure Management Analyst, responsible for the engineering aspects of the Windows Server infrastructure. Michael R. then joined Accenture as an Infrastructure Team Lead, managing application suites and middleware components. Currently, Davies is working at IT Mindshare as the Vice President of Operations, where they oversee IT services and consulting, manages internal staff, leads project management, and collaborates on financial and strategic planning with the CEO.

Michael R. Davies completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a focus on Management Information Systems at West Virginia University from 1996 to 2000. Michael R. then pursued higher education and obtained their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business from Salem University, where they attended from 2009 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Michael R. Davies has also earned several certifications. These include the Cyber Leader Certification Program from the Cyber Readiness Institute, which they obtained in May 2022. In March 2021, they became a CMMC Registered Practitioner through the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification Accreditation Body. In May 2020, Michael obtained the Cybersecurity Fundamentals for Engineers certification from ConnectWise and the Cyber Security Threat Hunter Level 1 certification from Active Countermeasures. Prior to these certifications, they earned the Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Merck in June 2011 and the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from Pink Elephant in August 2007.
