Dauren Akhmetzhanov

Dauren Akhmetzhanov has worked in the IT field since 2003. Dauren began their career as a 1st level engineer in IT-Center at Kazakh American University. In 2004, they moved to KAZGOR as a Software Developer. In 2005, they became Lead IT Engineer and Lead Manager of Financial Systems Section of IT Department at Ore Mining Company, a branch of NAC Kazatomprom. In 2006, they were an Advisor Engineer for Bolashak Atyrau LLP & Bolashak International Ltd, where they worked on SGP/SGI project and Tengiz oil & gas field expansion. From 2012 to 2017, they were an Automation Engineer at Тенгизшевроял, where they were responsible for OSI PI architecture deployment, administration and support, PI interfaces integration, and PI Asset framework deployment. In 2017, they moved to KMGA as an Automation Engineer and IT Vizion as a Lead Application Engineer.

Dauren Akhmetzhanov earned a Master's degree in Automation of Business and Industry Processes from Satbayev University between 1999 and 2004. In 2009, they obtained certifications in Administering Microsoft SQL Server 2000, Administering Microsoft Windows 2000/2003, and Oracle: SQL и PL/SQL from the Science and Education Center - High Tech for Human. In 2018, they obtained OSI Partner Accreditations in PI System Application Development Specialist, PI System Infrastructure Assessment, and PI System Installation Specialist from OSIsoft.
