Vito Amodio is a medical biotechnologist specializing in oncology research with a focus on colorectal cancer. Currently an AIRC researcher at IFOM since January 2023, Vito has experience designing and implementing in vitro and in vivo experiments, particularly related to cancer immunology. Prior roles include an AIRC researcher at Università degli Studi di Torino and a PhD student at Candiolo Cancer Institute IRCCS, where Vito focused on molecular oncology under the mentorship of Prof. Alberto Bardelli. Earlier training involved immunopharmacology at Istituto Clinico Humanitas and cell physiology at Università degli Studi di Bari, where Vito completed a Laurea Magistrale in Medical Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology.
