Andrey Pyatigorets

Andrey Pyatigorets is a Senior Software Engineer at Itasca Consulting Group, Inc. since 2015, where responsibilities include managing the FLAC2D and Griddle products, conducting R&D, and providing engineering consulting. Prior experience includes serving as an Engineering Specialist in the Drilling & Subsurface Division at ExxonMobil Upstream Research Company from 2010 to 2015, and as a Research Assistant at both the University of Minnesota and the Institute of Laser Physics, focusing on mathematical formulations and numerical modeling. Andrey obtained a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering and a Master's Degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Minnesota, and holds a combined Master's and Bachelor's Degree in Physics/Laser Physics from Novosibirsk State University.
