Mindy Young

Mindy Young, CPA, currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Itasca-Mantrap Cooperative Electrical Association since May 2023. Prior to this role, Mindy held the position of Director of Finance and Administration at Red River Valley Cooperative Power Association from October 2018 to May 2023. Mindy's experience in accounting began at Widmer Roel, where responsibilities included serving as both Senior Staff Accountant and Staff Accountant from January 2016 to September 2018, providing audit and accounting services to various clients. Earlier in the career, Mindy gained customer service experience as a server at Paradiso Mexican Restaurant from April 2006 to December 2015. Mindy holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Minnesota State University Moorhead, earned between 2011 and 2015, and an associate degree in Sales, Marketing, and Management from Minnesota State Community and Technical College, completed from 2005 to 2007.
