Jose Miguel Alvarez

Jose Miguel Alvarez has a strong background in finance and trading. Jose Miguel started their career as an Internship Trainee at Banco de Chile in 1994 and later became a Trader ALM & Liquidity. In 2006, they joined Banco de Chile again as a Senior Trader FX and Options. In 2008, they moved to Itaú Chile as the Head of Market Making Fixed Income & Derivatives.

Jose Miguel Alvarez has a Diploma in Business Innovation from the Postgrado de la Escuela de Ingeniería - Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, which they obtained in 2019. In 2009, they received a Diploma of Education from ESE Business School Chile. Additionally, in 1998, they obtained a Diplomatura in Finance from the Facultad de Economía y Negocios - Universidad de Chile. Earlier in their education, from 1989 to 1993, Jose Miguel Alvarez studied at the Universidad de Santiago de Chile and earned a degree in Commercial Engineering.
