Jan Hedander

Jan Hedander, MSc, is a biochemist, scientifically trained at KTH Royal Institute of Technology with special focus on biochemistry, analytical and organic chemistry. Jan has been working with R&D within the pharma industry (Kabi, Pharmacia, BioVitrum) for more than 30 years, in projects dealing with i.e. diabetes, obesity, osteoporosis and cardiovascular diseases.

Since 2008, Jan acts as CMC expert/senior vice president and part owner at BioPharmaLinx AB, a company providing services for the biotech and biopharmaceutical industry, especially focusing on recombinant protein production (in prokaryotic and eukaryotic expression systems). Jan is operating as CMC project manager on behalf of biotech companies, coordinating and organizing CMC-related work, as well as writing the CMC sections of clinical trial applications (IND & IMPD).
