Dr Caroline Carpenter

Dr. Caroline Carpenter serves as a Governor at Itchen Sixth Form College since 2019. Previously, Dr. Carpenter held the position of University Secretary and Registrar at Solent University from 2009 to December 2021, overseeing governance, registry functions, academic quality, UKVI compliance, and various student-related matters including appeals and disciplinary cases. Additionally, Dr. Carpenter directed the Research and Information Unit, focusing on institutional research, national policy analysis, and data analysis. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Policy and Leadership from the University of Southampton, an MBA from Nottingham Trent University, a BA(Hons) in History from the University of London, and a PGCE from the University of Sussex.
