Inga Hjartardóttir

Inga Hjartardóttir has a diverse and extensive work experience. Inga is currently the Chief Financial Officer at itelCX since 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Project Manager at Iceland Hotel Collection by Berjaya from 2022 to 2023 and as the Managing Director at Hotel Husafell Iceland in 2021. Inga also owned and directed Hart Bridge Consulting from 2018 to 2020. Inga served as the Director of Finance at the World Travel and Tourism Council in 2020, where they played a crucial role in optimizing finances during the Covid pandemic. Furthermore, they held the position of Chief Compliance Officer at Sandals Resorts International from 2014 to 2018 and Financial Controller at Ace Hotel London in 2013. Inga also ran their own professional services firm, Hamraborg Limited, from 2008 to 2013 and held various financial roles at WATG from 2000 to 2008. Inga began their career at the BBC in 1997, working as both a Business Analyst and Assistant Management Accountant.

Inga Hjartardóttir completed an Executive MBA in Strategy, Finance, Marketing, and Organisational Behaviour at EHL in 2010-2011. Prior to that, they pursued an ACMA degree in Accounting at the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting (CIMA) from 2006 to 2009. In 2016, Inga attended the Caribbean Governance Training Institute and obtained a Certified Director (C. Dir) degree in the Chartered Director Program, focusing on Corporate Governance.
