Mosammat Tahnin Tariq, PhD, EIT has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries.

Mosammat Tahnin is currently working as a Traffic Operations Engineer at Iteris, Inc. since August 2021.

Prior to that, they served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Pittsburgh from January 2021 to July 2021.

From 2017 to 2020, they worked as a Research Assistant at Florida International University.

Mosammat Tahnin Tariq, PhD, EIT began their education at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology from 2007 to 2011, earning a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Mosammat Tahnin then pursued further studies at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, where they obtained a Master's degree in Transportation and Highway Engineering between 2012 and 2015. Tariq later enrolled at Florida International University from 2017 to 2020, where they completed both a Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Transportation Engineering.
