Rabbi-ul Islam has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Rabbi-ul worked at iTest, Inc. as the Chief Executive Officer starting from February 2017. Prior to that, they had an extensive tenure at ISE Labs, working in various positions. From August 2008 to January 2017, they served as the VP of Engineering & Test Business Unit. Rabbi-ul was the VP of Operations & Engineering from May 2004 to July 2008, and the VP of Operations from July 2001 to April 2004. Before that, they held the roles of General Manager, Operations Manager, Staff Engineer, and Test Engineer at ISE Labs. Before joining ISE Labs, Rabbi-ul Islam worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Utilux from 1993 to 1995, and as a Design Engineer at Hong Kong Connector Company during the same period.
Rabbi-ul Islam's education history is as follows:
From 1977 to 1980, they attended BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola where they completed their SSC (Middle School) degree. Then, from 1981 to 1983, they attended BAF Shaheen College Dhaka and obtained their HSC (High School) degree.
In 1983, they enrolled at the University of Dhaka where they pursued studies in Applied Physics & Electronics, though a specific degree name is not mentioned. Rabbi-ul completed their studies in 1985.
During the same year, from 1985 to 1986, they attended Beijing Language Institute and Beijing Language and Culture University, both in Beijing, China. Rabbi-ul received a Diploma in Mandarin from both institutions.
From 1986 to 1990, Rabbi-ul Islam returned to Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, where they completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering.
Lastly, they pursued further studies and from 1990 to 1993, attended Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, obtaining a Master of Engineering degree in Computer & Its Applications.
