Syed Wajahat Alam, FCA, MA(ECO) has a wealth of professional experience. Syed Wajahat began their career in 2008 as a Senior Supervisor at Baker Tilly International, where they established excellent working relationships with clients and performed substantive and analytical procedures for audit to determine the reasonableness of the financial statements' assertions. In 2012, they took on the role of Chief Financial Officer at RB Avari Enterprises (Pvt.) Ltd., where they strategically positioned himself and directed various functions such as financial, accounting, commercial, treasury, and financial risk management, MIS & budgets, business expansion, systems development, human resource management & development, marketing, and procurement. In 2018, they moved to Consultants Group (CG) as Group Chief Financial Officer, managing companies under the group with Real Estate Urban Development, Construction, Hospitality, Architectural and Infrastructural designs. In 2019, they joined Ithaca Capital as Group Manager Finance, managing companies under the group with Car rental services, Security services, Human resource and related services as main businesses. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed Chief Financial Officer at Calcorp Limted.

Syed Wajahat Alam obtained their S.S.C. from ST Lawrence school in 2001-2002. Syed Wajahat then went on to get their H.S.C. from DJ Sindh in 2003-2004. Syed Wajahat then obtained their Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General from Karachi University in 2005-2008. In 2010-2013, they obtained their Masters in Economics from Karachi University. Syed Wajahat then obtained their Associate Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountant of Pakistan in 2012. Additionally, they obtained Verified International Academic Qualifications from World Education Services in 2020.
