John Hopkins

John Hopkins is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in hospitality management. As the Managing Partner of Finance at Ithaka Hospitality Partners since March 2018, John has demonstrated expertise in financial oversight and strategic planning. Prior roles include Area Director of Finance for the Capella Hotel Group, where responsibilities encompassed finance for hotels in the Americas and the Caribbean, and Controller roles at various prominent hotels and resorts, including Mission Point Resort and Hyatt properties. John’s career spans over two decades, during which time financial management, budgeting, and operational oversight have been key focus areas, supported by a Bachelor of Science degree in Restaurant/Hotel Management from Purdue University.
