Thomas Kalkschmidt

Thomas Kalkschmidt has work experience in various roles and companies, starting with their current position as an Embedded Software Developer at ithinx GmbH since February 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Intel Corporation from 2015 to 2020 as an RF System Engineer. Before their role at Intel, they were a Working Student and completed their Master's thesis at Intel Corporation from 2014 to 2015. From 2012 to 2014, they gained experience as a Student Assistant at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, where they worked on Analog-Digital Circuits for the development of a system performing electrical impedance tomography, focusing on circuit design and programming of digital systems. Thomas also worked as a Working Student at ESoPe GmbH from 2009 to 2011, where they were involved in software development for embedded systems and protocol decoding.

Thomas Kalkschmidt pursued their education in the field of Electrical and Informational Engineering. Thomas obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from Ruhr University Bochum in 2012, and then went on to complete their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the same field and from the same university in 2015.
