Christine Tucker, Ph.D.

Christine Tucker, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Christine has recently worked at iTi Communications as a Finance Officer and Financial Accountant since November 2018. Prior to that, they served as the Principal at Sierra Vista Unified School District No. 68 from June 2016 to January 2020. Christine also held positions as an Elementary School Principal at Pueblo del Sol Elementary School from July 2016 to November 2019 and as an Assistant Principal at Waterway Elementary School from June 2012 to July 2017. Christine Tucker has also worked as an Instructional Coach at Horry County Schools from January 2009 to November 2012, where they were responsible for developing strategies to address instructional deficiencies and providing support for improving instructional practices. Christine started their career in education as a Classroom Teacher/Gifted and Talented Teacher at Horry County Schools from 2000 to 2009. Additionally, Christine Tucker has experience as an Independent Consultant at Macmillan/McGraw-Hill from August 2004 to August 2009, and as an Owner/Operator at IGA Supermarket from January 1990 to January 2000.

Dr. Christine Tucker pursued their education in a disciplined and systematic manner. Christine began their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from PennWest California, where they studied from 1980 to 1988. Displaying a strong commitment to continued growth, they then pursued a Master's degree in Elementary Education from Coastal Carolina University, which they completed in 2009. Building upon their foundational knowledge, Dr. Tucker proceeded to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree with a specialization in Leadership in Educational Administration from Capella University, where they accomplished their studies from 2010 to 2015. Through their various educational pursuits, Dr. Christine Tucker exhibited a dedication to acquiring a comprehensive understanding of educational administration and leadership.
