Inês Fernandes

Inês Fernandes is a QA Analyst and Application Support Analyst at itim Group plc since March 2021. Prior experience includes roles as a Master Thesis Student/Intern at Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto, focusing on the quality assessment of gene sequences from various DNA sequencing technologies, and a summer internship at INL - International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory in the Life Sciences Department. Inês also completed research internships at Escola de Ciências da Universidade do Minho, gaining laboratory experience in animal cell culture and cytotoxicity tests, and at Universidade do Minho, conducting research on the synthesis of potential anticancer drugs. Inês holds a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from Escola de Engenharia da Universidade do Minho and a Licentiate degree in Applied Biology from Universidade do Minho.
