Dave Caygill

Dave Caygill is a seasoned Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles spanning over two decades. Currently employed at ITM Power since June 2022, Dave specializes in developing innovative mains lighting products while overseeing the New Product Development process. Previous roles include positions at Barkston Ltd and Eaton, where responsibilities involved implementing lean activities for both new and existing product ranges. Earlier experience at Cooper Lighting Solutions focused on creating bespoke modifications and providing essential documentation for manufacturing processes. Dave's foundational skills were developed during tenures at CASEIH, first as an Apprentice Engineering Technician and later as a machine tool operator. Education was completed at Doncaster College, earning an HND in Mechanical & Production Engineering.
