Paul McNamara

Paul McNamara is a seasoned journalist with extensive experience in political and investigative reporting. Currently serving as a Senior Political Correspondent for Channel 4 News since February 2015, Paul has held various roles within the organization, including Business & Global Trade Correspondent and Investigative Journalist. Prior to this, Paul co-founded and edited OpenWorld News Ltd, an investigative news agency catering to national broadcasters and publications. Earlier career highlights include serving as Defence Editor for News UK, where Paul reported from frontlines in Afghanistan, and starting as a trainee reporter at the News of the World. Paul’s career began at the Bedford Times & Citizen and included a role as a street reporter for the New York Daily News.
