Louis O'Callaghan

Louis O'Callaghan is a Solutions Architect at iTrellis. Prior to their current position, they worked as a Software Engineer at Calico Energy, where they were responsible for refactoring, debugging, and testing the existing codebase of an energy management software package for utilities. Some of their highlights from their time at Calico Energy include rewriting the charts functionality using a service-oriented architecture to improve testability and modularity, in order to share the feature across different versions of the EIS product, designing and implementing patterns for writing acceptance tests, and modifying web services to automatically generate WSDLs with documentation sourced from code comments.

Before their work at Calico Energy, Louis O'Callaghan was an Application Developer/Software Engineer at KEXP, where they worked on a variety of web applications and services. Louis also spent two years as an Application Developer at the Professional Bowlers Association (PBA), where they were responsible for developing and maintaining the league's official website.

Louis O'Callaghan has a wealth of experience in software development, and their skills include C#, WCF, NHibernate, SpecFlow, Gherkin, MSUnit, and Visio.

Louis O'Callaghan is an English teacher who has a bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Washington. Louis also has a degree in English and Music from the University of Washington.
