Chief Legal Officer & Chief Compliance Officer at It's Nanoed

Greg Trangmoe is the Chief Legal Officer, and Chief Compliance Officer. In these roles, he oversees global legal issues for It’s Nanoed, as well as ethics, compliance and regulatory affairs, and brand protection. An experienced engineer and business attorney, Trangmoe has worked with innovative companies, large and small, to deftly overcome business challenges. A primary part of his focus is developing solutions to support sales and services transactions for It’s Nanoed and anticipate the financial needs of this rapidly growing company.

Prior to It’s Nanoed, Trangmoe managed litigation for the consumer protection firm of Robert S. Gitmeid & Associates in New York City and specialized in post-grant patent and trademark litigation with Stern, Kessler, Goldstein & Fox in Washington, DC. In addition to providing legal guidance he has served as an officer and trustee for growing businesses involving software, distilling, and medical technology.

Trangmoe has been appointed to the Montana Office of Public Instruction Data Task Force, the Governors’ Every Student Succeeds Advisory Committee, and the Montana School Board’s Association Board of Directors. He also serves on the Board of Coding for Kids, an afterschool and summer STEM academy, and served as the Chairman of his local School Board. In 2019 he received the Marvin Heintz award for excellence in school leadership.

Trangmoe received a JD degree from The University of Montana Alexander Blewitt III School of Law in 2015, a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Arizona in 1998, and an Honors Electrical Engineering degree from Montana State University in 1991.
