Marat Tastemirov

Marat Tastemirov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marat currently holds the position of Head of Kazakhstan offices at ITS Partner, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Legal at the Professional Football League of Kazakhstan from February 2022 to December 2022. Marat also served as the Deputy Chairman at Astana Innovations JSC from October 2020 to June 2021.

Before joining Astana Innovations JSC, Marat held the role of Director of startup ecosystem's Support at Astana Hub from March 2019 to October 2020. Marat gained experience in the construction industry as a Project Lawyer and later as the Head of Legal Department at BI GROUP from September 2016 to June 2017.

Marat's earlier work experience includes being the Head of Legal Department at Sembol Construction Kazakhstan from July 2013 to September 2016, where they provided legal advice for the construction of facilities within the Research and Educational Complex "Nazarbayev University". Marat started their legal career as a Lawyer at Kazakhstan Food Company "KAZBRAND" from August 2012 to July 2013.

Prior to that, Marat worked at a Heat and Power Company as the Head of Pre-action and claim Department from June 2009 to August 2012.

Marat Tastemirov obtained their Bachelor's degree in International Law and Legal Studies from KazGUU, from the years 2004 to 2008.
