Richard Somiari

Richard Somiari, PhD is currently serving as the President & Chief Scientific Officer at ITSI-Biosciences and as the Scientific Director for the DNA & Protein Forensic Program at ITSI-Forensic Sciences. Prior to these roles, Richard held positions such as Scientific Director at the Clinical Breast Care Project and Chief Operating & Scientific Officer at Windber Research Institute. Richard's educational background includes a PhD in Biochemistry from Lodz University of Technology and various other degrees in fields such as Molecular Biology and Food Science & Technology. Additionally, Richard holds a certificate in Finance for the Technical Executive from MIT Sloan School of Management.
