Erik Leach

Erik Leach has over 20 years of work experience in project management and engineering. Erik currently holds the position of Director SOGR/Systems Project Management & Construction Office at MARTA, where they are responsible for overseeing various system, security, and construction projects and programs. Prior to this, they served as the Acting Director of Project Management & Construction at MARTA. Before joining MARTA, Erik worked at LAI Engineering and Schoor Depalma, where they held various roles including Branch Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Project Engineer/Manager. Erik has extensive experience in managing multi-million dollar improvement and development projects, coordinating with different departments to keep projects within scope, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Erik Leach has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from Hofstra University, which they obtained from 1992 to 1997. Prior to that, they completed an Associates of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering at Nassau Community College from 1990 to 1992. Erik Leach has also obtained certifications, including the ENO Mid Managers Seminar Levels I & II from the Eno Center for Transportation in 2018 and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2014.
