Michael A. Oriade

Michael A. Oriade, Ph.D., LL.B., CISA, CDPSE, FCIS has a diverse work experience. Michael A. worked as an IT Audit Lead at MARTA (Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority) starting from February 2019. Michael A. also served as the President of Nigeria-US IT Network from June 2019 to June 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Moore Colson as a Senior Risk Advisory and Compliance Services professional from March 2016 to November 2018.

Michael A. Oriade, Ph.D., LL.B., CISA, CDPSE, FCIS has an extensive education history. Michael A. obtained a Master of Public Management (MPM) degree from Indiana University Kokomo in 2012. Michael A. then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Administration and Social Service Professions at Capella University, completing their studies in 2015. In addition, they earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Management (GCPM) from Indiana University Kokomo in 2011.

Before these achievements, Michael also obtained a Master of Transportation Management (MTM) degree from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, and completed their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Ogun State University. Michael A. furthered their legal education by attending Nigeria Law School where they obtained a Barrister at Law (BL) qualification.

To complement their academic qualifications, Michael also holds various certifications. Michael A. became a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) in 2016 and a Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) in 2020, both from ISACA. Michael A. obtained the Splunk Core Certified User certification from Splunk in 2022. Additionally, they have completed the Executive Team Leadership program at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University in 2007. Furthermore, they are a Fellow of the Certified Institute of Shipping of Nigeria (FCIS), awarded by CISN.

Recent achievements include obtaining the Proofpoint Certified AI/ML Specialist certification from Proofpoint in 2023, and completing the Academy Live - Mastering MITRE ATT&CK program from AttackIQ in the same year.
