Rafael Saakyan

Rafael Saakyan is an accomplished professional in trade compliance, currently serving as the Director of Trade Compliance at ITT Inc. since April 2020. With a solid background in export compliance, Rafael has held key roles at Aptiv, including Senior Manager of Global Export Compliance and Empowered Official, and previously managed the NA Export Compliance Program at Amazon. Early career experience includes positions as a US Customs Specialist at EnCana and Global Import and Export Compliance Manager at Cascade Microtech, along with a foundational role as a Trade Assistant at USEAC. Rafael holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Chemistry from Boise State University.
