Hasib Ahsan

Hasib Ahsan, PhD, is a Postdoctoral Researcher at IT-Universitetet i København, focusing on the European Research Council funded Decoupling IT Project, which examines the role of IT in addressing climate change through comparative ethnography. Ahsan has held several leadership roles, including Co-PI for various projects aimed at improving digital mental healthcare for Syrian refugees and developing mobile health solutions for Rohingya refugees. With extensive experience in ICT for Development (ICT4D) and international development, Ahsan has managed multiple projects related to digital agriculture and health services, including initiatives supported by USAID and the World Bank. Ahsan's academic background includes a PhD in ICT4D from IT-Universitetet i København and a Master's in Development Studies from North South University.
