Rafael Fiume

Rafael Fiume is an experienced software engineer with a strong background in backend development and team leadership. Currently serving as Lead Engineer at ITV since February 2020, Rafael oversees three backend teams that distribute content to millions of users in the UK. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at OVO, where Rafael contributed to a boiler installation algorithm and integrated various third-party services, and at Equal Experts, focusing on mentoring and remote work with diverse technologies. Rafael's earlier experience includes key positions at Sky, Lumata, Digital Pages, and SPC, where responsibilities ranged from developing SaaS products to managing critical batch systems. Rafael holds a Technologist degree from the University of São Paulo, with studies in Informatics, English, Math, Computer Science, and Politics.
