Delida Costin has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Delida is currently the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at Group Black, where they are involved in building the largest collective of Black-owned media and diverse creators. Prior to this, they worked as a Partner at Glynn 100. In 2017, Delida served as a Board Director and Finance Committee Member at ITVS, a nonprofit organization funding and partnering with documentary filmmakers. Before that, they served as the Chief Legal and People Officer and later as the General Counsel at Grove Collaborative, a customizable auto-shipment service for all-natural home products. Delida also worked as a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law in 2019. Delida has held various board positions, including Vice President and Personnel Committee Chair at the Oakland Symphony from 2013 to 2019. Additionally, they worked as the General Counsel at lynda.com, Inc. in 2015 and as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Pandora from 2010 to 2014. Early in their career, Delida was a Member of the Attorney Bench at Axiom and served as the Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at CNET Networks, Inc.

Delida Costin has an extensive educational background. Delida attended Woodhull from 1975 to 1979. Later on, they pursued their Bachelor of Arts degree at Northwestern University, which they completed from 1987 to 1991. Subsequently, Costin enrolled at Boston University School of Law, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree between 1992 and 1995. In 2015 and 2016, they attended the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business for The Berkeley Executive Leadership Program and received a Certificate of Business Excellence.
