Tareque Laskar has over 15 years of work experience in various roles. From 2019 to present, they have been working as the Head of Research and Analytics at ITW Consulting Pvt. Ltd., where they lead a team of 6 members and supports the company's business pitches through research-driven insights and consulting solutions.

Prior to that, from 2018 to present, Tareque served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at BMS College of Commerce and Management, teaching courses in Global Economics, Production and Operations Management, Managerial Economics, Business Environment, Supply Chain Management, and Operations Strategy.

Tareque also worked as a Research Associate and Head of the Management Intelligence Center at IIPM Bangalore from 2005 to 2011.

Tareque Laskar's education history begins in 1998 when they enrolled at Assam University, Silchar, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc) degree in Physics. Tareque successfully completed their undergraduate studies in 2001. Following this, Tareque attended the Indian Institute of Planning and Management from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Marketing and Finance and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. In 2018, Tareque briefly attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) as part of their Summer School Programme, focusing on the field of Economic Crises.
