Ibrahim Wagdy has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ibrahim currently holds the position of Legal Director at ITWorx, a role they started in July 2022. Prior to this, Ibrahim worked as a Part-time Instructor at MPL Legal Academy starting in February 2018.
From September 2010 to June 2022, they held the position of Associate General Counsel at The American University in Cairo. In this role, Ibrahim supervised and oversaw the work of the legal team, assisted the General Counsel in determining legal strategies, conducted legal drafting and research, and participated in cross-cultural negotiations.
Before joining The American University in Cairo, Ibrahim worked as a Corporate and Contracts Lawyer at DAMAC Properties. From December 2007 to August 2010, they were responsible for drafting various agreements, terms and conditions, and corporate documents. Ibrahim also played a key role in the company's merger with the Egyptian Housing and Development Bank.
In addition to their other roles, Ibrahim briefly served as a Prosecutor at the Egyptian Public Prosecution from January 2008 to February 2008. Overall, Ibrahim's work experience demonstrates their expertise in legal matters and their ability to handle a variety of responsibilities in different organizations.
Ibrahim Wagdy completed their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law/ English Section from Alexandria University in 2006. Prior to that, they attended Futures Language School and obtained their High School diploma in 2002.
In addition to their formal education, Ibrahim has obtained various certifications. In January 2020, they completed the "Justice" certification from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX. In September 2019, they obtained the "What is Compliance?" certification from the University of Pennsylvania. In October 2017, Ibrahim completed the "Making Successful Decisions through the Strategy, Law & Ethics Model" certification from the University of Michigan. Furthermore, they obtained the "Contracts: From Trust to Promise to Contract" certification from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX in March 2016, and completed the "Successful Negotiation: Essential Strategies and Skills" certification from the University of Michigan in February 2016.
