Veronica Walicki

Veronica Walicki has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2017 as an Italian Speaker for LOECSEN. In 2018, they held three positions: Business Interpreter IT <> RU for Italian Exhibition Group Spa, Technical Translator EN-RU > IT for RISP S.R.L., and Business Interpreter IT-RU-EN <> FR for Monna Lisa / Hôtesses & Interprètes. In 2019, they began working as a Linguistic Project Manager for Datawords, a role which included localisation project management, multidisciplinary team coordination, freelance coordination, providing language style guides, translation memories management, customer relationship management, and quality management ISO 9001. In 2020, they worked as an English and French Teacher for MIUR and, in 2021, they began their current role as Localisation Manager for iubenda.

Veronica Walicki has a diverse educational background. From 2013 to 2016, they attended Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, where they earned a degree in Foreign Languages and International Relationships, focusing on Russian and English. In 2014, they received a Russian Language Certificate from Pushkin State Russian Language Institute. From 2015 to 2017, they participated in the Erasmus+ Program. L3 + M1 at Institut national des langues et civilisations orientales (Inalco), where they studied Russian and French Translation. From 2018 to 2019, they completed an Overseas Exchange Program at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), focusing on Translation and Interpreting. Finally, from 2017 to 2020, they earned a Master's degree in Interpretation from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
