Vinni Jain

Vinni Jain is a conservation biologist with significant research experience, currently serving as a member of the IUCN-SSC Otter Specialist Group since October 2022. Previously, Vinni worked as a Research Fellow with the Centre for Wildlife Studies from November 2018 to July 2023 and held positions as a Research Assistant at the University of Mysore and as a Research Intern at the Applied Environmental Research Foundation. Vinni is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Conservation Biology at Oxford Brookes University, having completed a Master of Research in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation at Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Zoology and Biochemistry at St. Xavier's College.
