Jarrod McAdoo

Director Of Product Marketing at Ivalua

Jarrod McAdoo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jarrod began their career at Bechtel Plant Machinery Incorporated as a Procurement Specialist, where they performed project management duties and negotiated contracts for nuclear power generation equipment.

Jarrod then moved on to Westinghouse Electric Company, where they held various roles including Supplier Relations Manager, Manager of Buying Center Operations, and Director of Supply Chain Management. In these roles, they managed strategic suppliers, procured non-complex items and services, and set the strategic direction for regional processing centers.

Next, they joined American Eagle Outfitters Inc. as the Senior Manager of Procurement Operations and later became the Director of Non-Merchandise Procurement. In these positions, they managed non-merchandise category managers and travel and expense teams, led the global procure-to-pay process utilizing Ariba Spend Management Suite, and developed policies and procedures for centralized transactional procurement operations.

Following their time at American Eagle Outfitters Inc., Jarrod worked at Carnegie Mellon University as the Director of Procurement Services. Here, they managed the university's category managers, travel and expense team, and procurement operations lead, achieving significant cost savings and implementing tactical procurement processes utilizing Oracle procurement solutions.

Most recently, Jarrod joined Ivalua as the Senior Product Marketing Manager and later became the Director of Product Marketing. In these roles, they developed value-based messaging and market requirements, collaborated with R&D to establish product roadmaps, and created sales and marketing collateral.

Throughout their career, Jarrod has demonstrated a strong expertise in procurement, supply chain management, and product marketing.

Jarrod McAdoo began their education in 1993 at Carnegie Mellon University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government and Industrial Management. Jarrod attended this university until 1997. In 1998, they pursued further studies at Duquesne University and completed a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, General, in 2000. During their time at Carnegie Mellon University, from 1993 to 1996, they also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Political Science and Industrial (Business) Management, and another Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Business Management.
