Ian Cole

Ian Cole has over 20 years of experience in various roles within the IT industry. Ian is currently working at Ivanti (via Cherwell Acquisition) as the Senior Director of ITSM Hosting Operations. In this role, they manage a global team of over 70 technologists and is responsible for maintaining hosting infrastructure for multiple product lines. Ian also oversees operational budgets and is leading efforts to integrate and consolidate various operational tools. Prior to their current role, Ian worked for Cherwell Software as the Manager of the SaaS team. Ian has also held positions at Pax8, DIRECTV, Critigen, National Auto Sport Association, 4 Cs Consulting, LLC, CH2M HILL - Managed Services, Interlink, and Adelphia, where they gained experience in IT support, crisis management, sales engineering, and process engineering. Throughout their career, Ian has demonstrated their ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and successfully implement improvements in various operational processes.

Ian Cole completed their Master of Science in Technology Management from the University of Denver, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General, from 2004 to 2006. In addition to their degree, Ian also obtained several certifications, including ScrumMaster from ScrumAlliance in October 2018, ITIL Continual Service Improvement (CSI) from AXELOS Global Best Practice in October 2015, and ITIL V3 Foundations from CSME, Inc in December 2012.
