James A. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. James began their career in 1997 at Affordable Productions, where they worked as a Production Advisor, providing technical support for production equipment and computers until 2011. In 2000, they joined WRBL as an IS Support Engineer and later became a Newscast Director until 2011. James then moved to WC Bradley in 2011, starting as an IT Specialist and subsequently took on roles as a SAN & Backup Administrator, Infrastructure Analyst, and Network Analyst II. James'sresponsibilities at WC Bradley included maintaining SAN and backup infrastructure, implementing new technologies, and supporting the network, Windows, and Linux servers. In 2017, they joined iVision as a Cloud Engineer, where they are currently employed.
James A. began their education at Chattahoochee Valley Community College in 2006, where they pursued an Associate of Science (AS) degree in General Studies. James attended the college until 2009.
In 2010, James enrolled at Columbus State University and spent four years studying Computer Science on the Applied Track. James successfully obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Columbus State University in 2014.
Throughout their educational journey, James also attained multiple certifications. In September 2013, they obtained the CompTIA Linux+ certification from CompTIA. Additionally, they achieved the LPIC-1: Linux Server Professional Certification from the Linux Professional Institute during the same month and year.
In 2022, James obtained various certifications related to cloud computing and networking. In January, they became a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) through Cisco. Furthermore, in March, they acquired the Microsoft Azure Administrator certification from Microsoft. Later, in July, they attained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification, also from Microsoft.
