John Oppel

John Oppel's work experience begins in 2000 as a Network Administrator at Faith Fellowship Ministries World Outreach Center. John later became the MIS Department Head for the same organization. In 2007, they joined Infinity Info Systems as a Senior Infrastructure Analyst and eventually progressed to become an IT Manager and then an IT Director.

In 2015, Oppel moved to New Signature, where they initially served as a Solutions Architect before transitioning to the role of Solutions Architect Team Lead. John later became the North American Client Success Team Lead and eventually a Solutions Strategist.

In 2020, they joined Maureen Data Systems (MDS) as Chief Technology Officer before moving to the Cognizant Microsoft Business Group in 2022 as a Solutions Advisor. Currently, Oppel works at ivision as a Sr. Solution Architect - Microsoft Digital Workspace and the Field CTO - Microsoft Practice, where they contribute their technical leadership and expertise in defining the company's technical direction and developing solutions aligned with market needs and strategic goals.

John Oppel obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biblical and Educational Studies from Northpoint College from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Marketing Art and Design at Middlesex College from 1993 to 1995. In terms of additional certifications, they became an Immersion Experience Elite Facilitator through the Microsoft Immersion Partner Program in July 2017. John also obtained various certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft CIE Facilitator and Microsoft Partner Technology Solutions Professional (P-TSP) in September 2015, MCSA: Office 365 in January 2015, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional in November 2014.
