Nathaniel Woods Sr. FITSP-A

Nathaniel Woods Sr. FITSP-A has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of cybersecurity and information technology. Beginning in 1980, they served in the US Army as a Supervisor of Radiology Departments and Assistant Supervisor, managing daily operations and overseeing a large team. In 1995, they joined The Defense Health Services Systems (DHSS) Program Office as a DT&E Consultant and Subject Matter Expert for Medical Record Tracking and Radiology. Here, they contributed to application development and conducted DT&E and IV&V for software releases.

In 1998, Nathaniel transitioned to SAIC as a Software Test Engineer and Implementation Specialist, where they employed their expertise in testing and implementing software solutions. Nathaniel then moved to Lockheed Martin Information Technology in 2003, assuming the role of Software Quality Engineer. Nathaniel'sresponsibilities included leading a DOD Health Affairs DT&E team, reviewing deliverables, conducting IV&V, and overseeing the deployment of CHCS II medical software.

In 2007, Nathaniel joined i-VisioNET, Inc. as the VP of Cyber Operations and Senior Information Security Engineer. Nathaniel focused on developing a robust IT security infrastructure and ensuring compliance with industry standards. In the same year, they also held the position of an Information System Security Engineer at Janus Associates Inc.

From 2008 to 2011, Nathaniel worked as a Senior Security Engineer at Avineon, Inc., specializing in the Bureau of Engraving and Printing's Enterprise Architecture Infrastructure. Nathaniel protected data, ensured compliance, and designed Enterprise Security Architecture.

In 2011, they briefly served as the Director at ViSalus. Overall, Nathaniel Woods Sr. has demonstrated expertise in cybersecurity, information security, IT infrastructure, software testing, and medical systems implementation throughout their career.

Nathaniel Woods Sr. enrolled in the US Army Academy of Health Science in 1980 and completed their studies in 1981, obtaining a diploma in Radiology Technology.
