Daniel Cheng

Daniel Cheng is a Senior Scientist at IVIVA Medical Inc, specializing in the engineering of functional organs through 3D printing, tissue engineering, and stem cell biology, while also designing custom bioreactors for 3D tissues. Prior experience includes a PhD Researcher role at Boston University focused on tissue engineering under Dr. Christopher Chen, and a Laboratory Technician position at Boston Children's Hospital where innovative microscope instrumentation was developed for single molecule biophysics. Daniel also contributed to research on bacterial inhibition in endotracheal tubes as a Research Assistant at Brown University and worked as a Research Intern at the Rowland Institute at Harvard, where a method for sorting microspheres for force studies was created. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, and a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University.
