Niek Engbers

Niek Engbers has extensive experience in both education and local politics. Since January 2022, Niek has held positions as a board member at Scouting Brandevoort and as a member of the GMR at PlatOO. Niek has been associated with IVO-Deurne since August 2012, serving as a lecturer in social studies and history, along with mentoring responsibilities. Additionally, Niek has been a council member for GroenLinks in Geldrop-Mierlo since April 2010, has served as the faction leader for GroenLinks in the municipality, and was the list leader for the GroenLinks municipal elections in March 2014. Niek's educational background includes a bachelor's degree in History and a bachelor's degree in Education from Fontys University, with a master's degree in History currently in progress.
