Dr. Francesc Font

Dr. Francesc Font has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Dr. Francesc is currently the Head of IT Applications Support at IWG plc, where they have redesigned and implemented IT service delivery processes, resulting in significant improvements in key performance indicators. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director of Project Management and Implementation at European Computer Telecoms AG, responsible for setting up the PMO and managing delivery teams and processes. Dr. Francesc also worked as a Customer Project Manager at Sunrise Communications AG, where they successfully managed the software development of a web portal and backend processes. Dr. Font has experience in service integration management at SITA Bureau Services and was a Lead Architect at Ericsson. Dr. Francesc has also held roles such as Service Manager and Lead Business Analyst at Orange Switzerland. Earlier in their career, they served as the Chief Technical Officer at BB Vietnam Corporation, Ltd. and worked as a Research Engineer at EPFL. Dr. Francesc started their career as a Software Engineer at TranSwitch SA - Switzerland.

Dr. Francesc Font completed their Ph.D. Thesis in Telecommunications at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2000 to 2004. Dr. Francesc also earned certifications in ITILV3 from Infolearn - Altran Education Services in 2012, PMP (Project Management) from Infolearn - Altran Education Services in 2011, Prince2 Practitioner (Project Management) from Infolearn - Altran Education Services in 2009, CCNA (CISCO Network Configuration) from Société Suisse des Employés de Commerce in 2004, and TOGAF 9.1 (Enterprise Architecture) from SITA Internal Training in 2016.
