Jane Palmer RN MN has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Jane Palmer started their career as a Registered Nurse at Capital District Health Authority in 1989 and worked in various roles until 2010. During this time, they served as a Health Services Manager/Quality Leader in the Cancer Care Program, overseeing outpatient cancer clinics and systemic therapy. Jane Palmer also acted as the interim Health Services Manager for the Inpatient Hematology/Bone Marrow Transplant Unit and Radiation/Gyne Oncology Surgical Unit. In addition, they led the accreditation process and chaired the CDHA Cancer Program Quality Council.
In 2010, Jane joined Trillium Health Partners as a Patient Care Manager, where they managed patient care and services. Jane Palmer held this position until 2013, when they transitioned to Capital District Health Authority again. This time, they worked as a Quality and Patient Safety Leader, focusing on ensuring quality and safety standards across the organization.
