Dan Hyman

Dan Hyman is a seasoned engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the high-tech and defense sectors. Currently serving as a Principal Staff Engineer at IXI Technology since September 2017, Dan focuses on enhancing the unmanned air system (UAS) capabilities of the IXI DRONEKILLER, a leading handheld counter-UAS system. As a co-founder of both Sensewave Corporation and a Stealth Startup since 2020 and 2017 respectively, Dan is involved in disruptive technology ventures in expansive markets. Previously, Dan co-founded XCOM Wireless, where Dan oversaw the development of reliable RF MEMS products, and served as President of Icarus Technologies, where Dan developed advanced handheld counter-UAS systems. Dan's early career includes significant roles at Hughes Research Laboratories and Case Western Reserve University, contributing to advanced RF MEMS programs and research collaborations. Dan holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Applied Physics from Case Western Reserve University and a B.S. in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
