Dianna Schonfield

Dianna Schonfield has a diverse work experience spanning various educational and counseling roles. Dianna is currently working at IXL Learning as a Senior Professional Learning Specialist, a position they have held since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Professional Learning Specialist at IXL Learning from June 2021 to June 2023.

Before joining IXL Learning, Dianna worked at Larchmont Charter School as a Lead Teacher and Technology Implementation Specialist from 2014 to 2021. In this role, they created and delivered presentations on technology integration, managed social media, and provided ongoing support to staff.

From 2012 to 2014, Dianna worked as an Elementary Teacher at Oakland Unified School District, where they designed training resources to enhance critical thinking performance. Prior to that, they were a Head Teacher at Learning Bee Learning Center from 2011 to 2012, where they interviewed and hired staff and delivered strategic curriculum.

Dianna's earlier experience includes working as a Student Teacher at Oakland Unified School District from 2010 to 2011, a Teacher Assistant at Los Angeles Unified School District from 2009 to 2010, a Therapeutic Counselor at Southern California Counseling Center from 2008 to 2009, and a Residential Clinical Case Manager at Vista Del Mar from 2007 to 2009.

Dianna also had a brief stint as an Education Development Intern at Santa Barbara Zoo in 2004.

Dianna Schonfield completed their education with a High School Diploma from Harvard-Westlake School in 2003. Dianna then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Anthropology as a double major at Washington University in St. Louis, graduating in 2007. Subsequently, between 2010 and 2012, Dianna attended Mills College and obtained a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in the field of Education.
