Andrew H. has over 15 years of experience in product management and engineering roles. Andrew began their career in 2006 as an Electrical Engineer Intern at CenterPoint Energy, where they created a company-wide standard for SEL Relay control logic and designed two vaults from the ground up. In 2008, they joined Foster Wheeler as an Electrical Engineer, where they designed electrical systems and managed equipment requisition for multiple refineries. In 2011, they became Mobile Product Manager at Manilla.com, where they managed iOS and Android apps and transitioned the company to "mobile first" via new designs, new processes, growing the mobile team, and moving to a unified API. Andrew also achieved 500,000+ users via mobile advertising, app store SEO, and funnel optimizations, as well as Google editor's choice app (2014) and Featured by Apple as "best new apps" (2014). In 2014, they joined HouseCanary, Inc. as VP Product, where they led the launch of two products Appraiser (home valuation) and Pro (home market analysis) and helped grow the company from 10 to 40+ people and raise first round funding. Andrew then joined Google as Design Program Manager in 2014. In 2016, they became Director of Product Management at Vega Factor, a company that helps organizations fundamentally transform how they organize their people and processes to maximize performance. Finally, in 2018, they joined Oscar Health as Senior Product Manager, where they launched two new insurance products and twelve markets, by managing a provider data integration with Cigna and meeting regulatory requirements in new markets. Andrew currently holds the role of Director of Product Management at ixlayer.
Andrew H. began their education in 2003, when they attended The University of Texas at Austin and earned their B.S. in Electrical Engineering. In 2009, they continued their education at Rice Business - Jones Graduate School of Business, where they earned an MBA in Management Consulting and Entrepreneurship in 2011.
