James Filaroski's work experience began in 1985 as a Sous Chef at Blackbeard's Restaurant. James then worked as an Executive Chef at Winchester's Restaurant, where they were responsible for menu planning and management development. In 1988, they became a Banquet Chef at Ethan Allen Inn before moving on to work as a Chef/Internship at Buena Vista Palace, Disney in 1989. From 1990 to 1993, James worked at Houston's Restaurants as a Chef, handling restaurant openings, training, and recipe development. Since 1993, they have been working at J. Alexander's Restaurants as the Vice President of Research and Development and the Corporate Executive Chef, overseeing recipe development, menu implementation, and national purchasing.
James Filaroski attended The Culinary Institute of America from 1989 to 1991, where they pursued an Associate of Sciences degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training.
