JC Brillant

JC started his IT career in the year 2000, doing tech support for a major e-commerce company, while earning his bachelor’s degree in Information Technology.

It was in School when he first learned to Code; and decided to launch a Web Development Company with his college buddies in his Basement Apartment on Long Island; EyeBottomLine.com. Which eventually became a Business Development Company building and developing companies like BBNYC an online Fashion Company, and Brillant IT Jobs, an IT Staffing and Consulting Agency.

JC’s hands on IT Career, took him from working as an IT Manager for a Medical Billing company all the way to the United Kingdom working for a Global Advertising Agency; where he managed a Digital Asset Management System for the Entire Ad Agency for all the Creatives in the North America Regions where he trained users on the system in New York, Vancouver, Atlanta, and Los Angeles.

From there he landed an opportunity with another Global ecommerce company where he worked as both a Systems Engineer & Web Developer and designed ecommerce web apps; and built out networks for 3 of their office locations and unified their systems to work on one platform vs. several applications and systems.

After being laid off due to financial cutbacks; JC was introduced to the Staffing agency world. He was called into to an interview to one of the largest staffing agencies in the world, which he thought was for a temporary consulting position. JC sat through 6 interviews with recruiter, recruiter manager, and several of his colleagues; then introduced to the Regional Vice President who offered JC an opportunity of a lifetime. To use his IT Skillsets and to help them grow their Software Development Recruiting Team. JC accepted and never looked back!

Fast forward 8 years later; with hundreds of placements later from full time, to contract to SOW projects. JC decided to add BITJOBS aka Brillant IT Jobs, to his portfolio of companies and start his own staffing agency. To date this has been his most successful venture yet working with companies like the National Basketball Association; Wolters Kluwer, New York City Housing Authority, Global Tech Solutions, and now Amazon. JC & his Team of Recruiters / Account Managers are gearing up to become one of the best IT Staffing & Consulting agencies. Mainly because JC in his heart is still what he likes to call an “IT GUY!” He doesn’t take the staffing thing lightly; he is very passionate about finding people jobs, and is very passionate about helping his clients solve the problem of finding the right talent that matches not just their technical needs but their culture fit, and personality traits. You cannot do that just pushing paper! Or throwing resumes against the wall to see if it sticks. JC instills his beliefs into his team, and they follow along.
