Jean-Luc Des Rivieres

Jean-Luc des Rivieres is an accomplished engineer and MBA graduate with extensive experience in project management and engineering roles within the construction and infrastructure sectors. Currently serving as an Interior Buildout Engineer at J.F. Shea Co., Inc. for the VTA's BART Silicon Valley Phase II, Jean-Luc is involved in constructability reviews on a significant design-build project in the San Francisco Bay Area. Previous roles include Project Engineer on large sewer overflow projects, where Jean-Luc successfully navigated complex site conditions and managed multidisciplinary teams. Notably, at Kiewit, achievements included enhancing production efficiency and overseeing critical quality control measures. Jean-Luc holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA specializing in Finance from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, recognized for academic excellence through the Class of 1981 Scholarship.
