Virgie Thames

Virgie Thames has been serving as the Administrative Assistant for the Vice President of Instruction at East Central Community College since January 1995, where responsibilities include supporting the objectives of the Vice President. Additionally, Thames works as a Part-time Trainer in Basic Computer skills, focusing on essential tasks such as email management and web research. Since January 2013, Thames has also held the position of Activities Assistant/Social Media Specialist at J. G. Alexander Nursing Center, providing activities to enhance the quality of life for residents in care facilities. Education includes an Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Psychology from East Central Community College and a high school diploma from Decatur High School obtained in 1980.
